Just so you guys know, dress warm for this meet. Forecast right now is 80% rain/snow at 34 deg. F. I smell group snow drifting...

And at that point you will need to do them!
That actually makes me feel alot better. You drive alot harder then I do. Plus my car might have 7500 miles on it so the valves are pretty new. Think I may try and get away with it for a year.

Anyone interested in a Muse motorsports new cast ported manifold and bushur heat shield. Manifold is brand new, opened to look at, heat shield is used but will be polished before sold. Was thinking 175+shippin and pp fees for both or will meet up. Let me know.

I am not sure of the lift on those cams. But if they are close to stock lift then you should be fine without the upgrade valvetrane.

I consistently rev'd my stock valvetrane to 8200 rev limit , alot of drag pulls and even more topend highway racing long 4th & 5th gear pulls

The GSC's also have higher than stock lift. No springs or retainers. Call the manufacturer and see what they say.

That part doesn't look bad, however they have one for a doluck type lip and one for the stock lip. I have neither of those, so I guess I'm screwed. Oh well, F-it, I'll just put the stock plastic piece of **** back on.

this is nearly entirely unrelated, but your problem reminded me of a funny thing that happened years ago.

myself and two of my friends were riding down route 28, heading to route 8 in his 1991 mercury cougar (5.0L v8 ftw!). it was at night, and around this time of year. the weather was pretty bad out.

well, halfway down 28 his wipers and washer fluid sprayers fail, and his windshield is getting so bad, he can't see where he is going. so my buddy in the back seat hands me a bottle of washer fluid, and i lean out the side of the car to toss it on the windshield, since on that part of 28 there is nowhere to pull over.

well, for whatever reason, we had the sunroof open.

so the washer fluid got taken by the air right up over the windshield, into the sunroof, and directly into the eyes of my friend in the back seat.

pure comedy. like a 3 stooges skit brought to life. my friend didn't think so at the time, because well, he was temporarily blinded. all worked out though. eventually, he got his sight back, and we got the window cleaned.

that car was all sorts of fun. from both headlights burning out in the middle of a night time road trip, to the doors occasionally opening for no reason while the car was in motion. ah memories. at any rate, good luck with your wiper problem. it's probably just a crossed wire somewhere along the way.

That's some scary **** sometimes man whenever the wipers fail. I had a dumbass attack in my F150 in my younger years. Needless to say, both wiper blades fell off of the arms driving to Greensburg in the Snow. With all that salt, you literally cannot see anything.. I drove home going like 30 MPH with the flashers on. I guess I installed the wrong size blades.

it didn't seem scary at the time because we were all young and stupid, but looking back on it, it was a pretty hairy situation.

Man, I wish I could get my hands on one of these...

http://www.subaru.com/shop/overview....mmand=overview

.....to smack it with a freakin baseball bat because it's so damn hideously disgusting. The wheels on that thing make it even more repugnant. And reading further, you have to add $2,000 just to get those awful wheels to make your car look even worse. So for a grand total of $37,000 you can now have one of Japan's most horrid looking vehicles.
