I thought Cobra's were like 35+??? Obviously for a used one you spend less, but in that case our cars become under 20-25 grand. At any rate, the Cobra is a nice car. But... for only 5 G's more you can have a Vette. That's where Ford screwed up. Nobody wants a Mustang over a Vette.

As far as it being the nicest Cobra you've seen Steve, the dude on those video's also has a mean Cobra. I beleive around 500 at the wheels as well. Would be a good matchup.

One thing I have to add Steve... I'd much rather own a Ford over a Pontiac! haha, just had to say it.

Innovate LC-1...Interfaces nicely with evoscan and is priced nicely. Below is a link of a place that sells them for a decent price, they also have a package that comes with either a square digital gauge or round digital gauge. I don't have an external gauge but was thinking about getting the one that is the size of a key and just Velcro it to the dash when i want to see my afr without logging. But to gauge or not to gauge is your choice

http://www.dynotunenitrous.com/store...idcategory=118

Also summitracing.com has them for a good price too.

ONe more option for you direct from innovate...includes the LC-1 + Tactrix cable which is needed to flash your car not a bad bundle...+ inc. the ecuflash software and directions.

http://www.innovatemotorsports.com/x...cat=265&page=2

Another thing you will need is evoscan so you can log your car and keep up to date with whats going on with your car/tune....Its $25.00

http://www.limitless.co.nz/EvoScan/

If you dont get the bundle from innovate....then you need to get a tactrix cable from here:

http://www.tactrix.com/product_info....04c57dd94e4ad3

and download ecuflash from here:

http://www.openecu.org/index.php?title=EcuFlash

If anyone wants a free OBDII scanner for there laptop that works with the tactrix cable you can DL here:

http://www.techdiag.co.uk/obdscantech/web/home.html

Oh and I hope you have a laptop!

Cobra's can be real fast for so little into them. Definitly low 11's capable with the stock charger with a smaller pulley and some portwork. Bolt on

But sayin all that and an Evo with a turbo upgrade can run these boys hard even on the highway atleast thru 4th , its tough in 5th being the Cobra's are 6spd's and their 5th pulls hard its like our 4th.

A few examples Evo and Cobra battles

Me vs Jake mods in the vid , He used to pull me in 5th before meth!

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=YaSqn2c3DDk

Me vs Gates Kenne Bell pulls hard. The 5th gear beatdown is the results

Thanks to Eric and Dane for the filmage

Well guys i took the plunge. I bought a set of Enkie NT03's in 18x9.5. With some 285-30-18's race tires on them. I can't wait to try something this size out. Altho that makes 4 sets of wheels. I will be selling a set here soon i'll keep you guys posted. I'm just not sure which ones to sell.

Coming soon.---- Some serious fender rolling!

WOW. That engine looks bad ****.

I don't really like mustangs myself but have learned to respect them. Or more some of the people that drive mustangs. I bet that car is a beast.

Well I installed my ported manifold and O2 housing this weekend...it only took 15 hours Took about 3 hours to pull it all apart and i spent about 3 hours port matching everything and 2 hours to put it all back together. The time in between ended in a disaster and it was not a fun experience, hindsight tells me to leave the turbo studs alone!!!

Here are some pics....

Megan O2 housing, needed the flange ported so it didnt interfere with flow - The flange created a lip in the exhaust flow.

After Porting

"Even though I have to push my car I am still faster!!"....danl getting his car in the garage to start the cage fabrication

My car is in pieces...

New PPi lower IC pipe.....fitment is perfect, this is a great part at a great price!!

In between working on my car I was helping weld the plates for a roll cage into danl 1G....

This is why I should have left the studs alone...while trying to properly remove them both studs broke off and had to be drilled. There was probably 5 hours in this process with drilling and I wish i left the studs alone even though the 4 bolts make life so much easier now........

What fun

I'm still hurting from it. My ****ing arms, my ****ing chest, my ****ing wrist. ****ing hardened turbo studs. **** that ****. We had to borrow my dad to sharpen bits every 20 seconds as thats all the longer the bit would drill. Even when it was drilling it was slow going. I'm not sure why it was so hard, removing the stud is fairly easy on a DSM.
