Jeremy I'd love to but I already have it set-up to start tearing the suspension apart to swap my springrates and install my front roll contol kit.

Ya I noticed that the other week. I still say methonal injection is the way to go. Has the benefite of cooling the air charge which E85 does not.
Also I like how you dont have to drive worrying about finding a Station. If meth gets low I just dont' floor it.

yeah but with ocho cinco you don't have to worry about a nozzle failing to spray and your pistons going kaboom.

Ummmm.......no. Your wrong on E85. Ask steelcityevo if he thinks methanol is the way to go.

I will work out a deal for locals and I can also get the ecu setup with scaling & latencies, and install - if anyone is interested....they work great for e85.
Will sell FIC 1050's (brand new in-box) locally for $290.00 cash/pick up.

im in Ross twp (North Hills)

A 100% clogged nozzle or any percentage of a clogged nozzle for that matter will not cause any damage because the failsafe flow sensor will pick it up and reduce boost to wastegate. I tried this before driving the car and it works great.
I crimped the meth line with pliers and the failsafe signal immediately was sent to solonoid cutting boost.

E85 is not iinjection in the air pipe so it therefore does NOT cool the inlet air charge. methonal injection is however injected directly into the inlet air pipe so it does cool the air temps.

now as far as combustion temp change from E85 and methonal Im not certain.
is this what your saying about E85?

if the fail safe picks it up.

i don't know, i have seen lots of engine on meth go boom. not just in evos either. steelcity will tell you all about his experience i am sure.

both ocho cinco and meth have their pluses and minuses, but i am never a fan of adding more complexity in to a system than already exists. with meth you essentially have an outside system that is supposed to be supporting the native system without really being able to properly talk to it. makes me leery, but run whatever works for you.
