Ya well if I remember right though eric that was almost basicly foulin the plugs within a few pulls.

Remember my failed attempt to adjusting your dwell timing in the AEM , we never did get to see the new settings with new plugs. then your cam snapped and you went to the track ran like crap and went a different direction with the car!!!

Who got their *** handed to them driving the white 9 on sat night @ around 10:30. I just wanted to let them know that they got spanked by two lengths by my 6k lb 4 wheel drive truck. But they already know this!!! They probably will never come forward, they just hide behind their car.

yeah, i was good with the plugs to about 8500 +- a few RPMs. anything over 9000 rpms it would start to foul them if i got anywhere near fuel cut. and damn the stupid NGK (laser iridium 2 step colders) plugs add up after about 5 or 6 sets.

i had them gapped pretty tight towards the end. just kinda refused to spend anymore money on the car ( the cop was not in my future)

As for the rest, its about spot on.. Didnt wanna go this direction, but I had to many other financial responsibilities to take care of. maybe next year i will play around again... staying stock ecu, fuel, and simple twin this time... soo the boundaries will be a lot less for this DD.

AEM , as dan said though we played around with the dwell options on the packs in the AEM for a while, and never really had a chance to see if it played a positive part or not... basically i think all it does is holds the charge longer. But like anything, you may have to be conserned that overworking them may cause them to burn out faster, IDK?

EXACTLY!

You're the same one that couldn't figure out how to get his car to the dyno because something was wrong and your car "broke down" within a mile or 2 from Wyotech...the problem??? OUT OF GAS!!!

Listen to his advice at your own peril.

EDIT - BTW Garret, I ran 30 psi on my black Evo but I also had the HKS DLI. Nate tuned it without the HKS box first until it wouldn't take any more, then we put that in and he got another 20whp out of it. I don't remember if it was because he could run more timing at 30psi, or if it was because we were at a lower boost and then were able to hit 30psi with the box - sorry.

In what way have you ever beaten me? As I recall your craptastic truck, which sounds like **** BTW was soundly owned.

You know all that basic shat like thats not what the Evo was built for , and O I like to turn my car when I race hahaha

Then all winter long I thought it was prep time for all the professional negative camber racers haha now CRICKETS

Hell Im bout to call some headz out on this. MMMM possibly a go at the big track at beaver run, you boyz can keep that autox shlt for yourself. My Evo came with 5 gears and I plan on using them , not just 2 !!!!!
Can I get in on this challenge? I still like to harass you knuckle dragging drag racers!

I would like to see one of these cars on the north track. You would get to use all 5 of those gears no problem. I can't be sure you would be able to slow the car down after your doing 150 mph down the front straight tho.

I was thinking we need a good argument on here again.

But really where are all the evo people out racing? I havnt even heard any times from the strip from anyone lately? It's spring, race em if you got um!

Sucks to hear. I know where there is a 9 MR with 16,xxx miles on it. Real clean and extremely well taken care of. You are gonna pay more than 20k though.
