Well my Evo will not be at the meet on Saturday. It appears that pouring 600+ lb.ft. of TQ thru Evo driveline can be a bit dicey.
Here is the results of a 1st gear roll in to boost.


So basically the Ring & Pinion got pissed off and tried to get out of the T-Case in the process of yanking the Threads right out of the Case Housing. This is with the big bolt upgrade.
Most of the internals can be re-used such as my RS front Diff , but Ring & Pinion are hurting.
Its out at Buschurs already and will be done beginning of next week .

I'm pretty sure I bought them off of 201motorsports.com. Their prices are hard to beat.
I was gonna ask if you had any driveline upgrades because I noticed you hadn't listed any in your mod list...I guess that sort of answers the question. I was really hoping I'd get to see that beast in person

Um ya I got buschwacker tranny and big bolt upgrade , shimming and RS LSD in the transfer case.
TQ kills stuff and well I'm making over 600ft./lbs. At flywheel. Trying to send it all to the ground in less than 1k rpm is rather brutal on driveline

thats to bad, i hate getting something together and then bam its over. you should think about getting the tranny and t case setup i have. i have had 0 problems so far with it. all shep stuff, its amazing.
Alittle hillclimb update since I havnt in a while. Things have been going great as far as results still. I did have my first off with damage last weekend. Just the front splitter and lower fender lip so just a flesh wound. I did manage 2nd overall and a new class record. I am pretty excited as I beat the GT1 sunbeam tiger( with a new Ford racing $20,000 motor) and my biggest compitition this season, the prince Dsports racer. I had FTD in the rain by about 20 sec to the next fastest driver. I would have kept FTD outa 95 cars but it dried out and the King (george Bowland) did what he comes to do and crushed everyone. I can't ever imagine the EVO in any form getting close to him.

Dan, it looks like shep is now installing helicoils to prevent this exact thing from happening. Might be worth looking into. And ouch, the $ for new ring and pinions. You are paying to play that's for sure.
