I think the ONLY problem going that far is this... If you break down, OUCH. Now given i doubt it would happen *knock on wood* but AAA only gives me 50 free miles :'(.

But yeah it was just an idea, however if it does strike some serious attention by locals we should definitely give it a go.

Talk about it being one heck of a meet.

you know, if amtrak goes out there you can get a relatively cheap train ticket and have them haul your car out there.

now that would be cool. a cross country train ride.

Justin,

I think you might have something there... We should look into that haha. How sweet would that look with a train of Evos, and yeah. Are you allowed to take a case of beer with you or what?

i'm sure you sneak booze on the train, or get it on there. i couldn't see them making you take a 50 hour train ride without some form alcohol.

it would prolly be like 500 or so dollars for auto boarding, a room you could sleep in, and the seat.

it would certainly be something worth looking into. it would take like twice as long as driving, but you wouldn't have to be driving the whole time, and no miles on the evo from the trip out.

hey, quick question.

has anyone here with a ix installed a turbo timer yet, and spliced it into their ecu?

i used the pinout that i found on the board for the ix ecu, the ground worked fine, but i think the o2 wire is mislabeled.

when i spliced the o2 wire in from my turbo timer, and switched it to the a/f reading it just started blinking 00.0 on my tt.

everything else seems to work fine though.

but now i am sitting here looking at the cat back and contemplating putting it on tonight so i can hear it.

if i do, i will take some movie clips for the sounds and post them up.

Stage 1 mod

Its been a LONG four months driving around in stock form. I took the day off today and drove up to Buschur Racing to have the Stage 1 mods done. They do great work! The car is SWEET

Feels like more power than my Silver EVO.

I can't wait for April 15...when PRP opens...to get some time slips...
