Thats just it nobody forces anybody to race . if u dont want u dont thats it . and its done in isolated locations no bi standers to get nabbed up by the police nothin. outside of that its all love for the cars. eat some wings do what u like , but gotta admit , a meet isnt a meet without some spirited driving of some form or another. but i like to hit 150+ mph atleast once

 

I actually think this year the cars we will see at these meets will top most other clubs. let stick together here guys!

No i agree with Dan which is great, i think its a very positive thing for all of us to get out the concerns of the meets so we can have a better turn out.

As for the spirited driving thats fine, but 150 on public roads, call me a sissy but i just do not like doing things like that. Maybe some quick 2nd through 3rd runs, but nothing insane.

Well i don't really have concerns about the meets myself. I think if you people want to continue to battle between racerswanted and evom thats fine! Who really cares. I like to talk to all of you. I may not always agree, and i may like to argue that! but its kinda been going on to long. To each his own! Lets just try and get a meet together here in the next few months with everyone! I think everyone has done alot to the cars in the winter and wants to show off. I kno i'd like to see alot of your guys cars.

It's good for us to clear the air about what are misconceptions about the "other" aka RW.net meets. The only time I ever saw anything dangerous was when some a-hole in a bonneville passed EvoDAN on the burm because HE WAS DRIVING TO SLOW.

Last year we had a dramatic decrease in attendance at the "meet and eat" events at the waterfront. especially, the # of people who said they were coming vs those that actually showed. This spawned the shift in meet location to a place easy for the regulars to get to. Not so that we could all go street racing and raise hell. People who have the impression that all we do is go street racing have the wrong idea. Last meet we went for a long drive and went for wings. As for 150mph, it's good to remember that certain member rides get to 150mph is about the time it took you to read this sentence.

RW is not intended as competition for the "Local Pittsburgh meet".
We started it because a few of us were sick of the stupid unmoderated arguments about Dyno's and god forbid I type the word **** over here.

It;s also a good place for people to post video's and things that won't fly here.

 

So when is the next local Pittsburgh meet?

 

well i'll have so say sometime after april 15. I kno i'll be down to the wire getting the car together. Welcome ill-luzion! I think a bunch of the guys from racerwanted.net are from your area! Hey i saw in your sig your running a clutchmaster clutch? How do you like it? You could be the first i've ever heard of using it. I've also considered one of the not so popular clutchs out there. They sure are used in alot of other vehicles with sucsess.

 

Im down with a meet...aslong as I have nothing going on the day its scheduled. . I just like to meet and b.s. I dont feel I have anything to prove on the street....

A meet would be nice to have in the west / north side of Pittsburgh once in a while, I dont always like to drive out to Monroeville.....but again I am game for anything if I have no prior engagments.

I plan on attending some meets this year. I haven't had a chance to meet many of
the evo locals. Last year I swear every weekend a meet was planned I had some
damn thing going on that I couldn't miss. Anyone interested in meeting up on sunday at beaver run?
They are having the one lap of america track day going on
this weekend. I'd love to go both saturday and sunday but I'm installing my
coilovers and wheels on saturday. Hit me up if anyone is interested!
