I have a viper alarm system thats extremely sensitive. That was my plan too. Bring it up August. Meet you guys, come to a couple meets and then take it home for Thanksgiving in November.

Baierl has ALWAYS been very cool to me! I don't know anyone who has deal with them for the cf wing, but they took care of my Brembos with no hassle what so ever! Call them and ask about your wing, I'm sure they will do what ever thay can to help!

 

If you are across the blvd of the allies in the dirty south you've got way more to worry about then your car anyway. Tucked away it should be fine.


Crime is a fact of life in the city. I live in the safest area and still had the car broken into once(in a parking lot where 5 other cars were also robbed at the same time). That said it's not worth living your life in fear of what MIGHT happen.

 

yeah, mine was for the paint peeling on the brembo's. Mine are hideous! My wing is also starting to fade a little. Peel pretty soon I'm sure. I waxed that thing once a month too! Anyhow, any dealer will most likely cover the wing. It's just a matter of getting the part. If you have a IX you're okay. But VIII's are a long wait. 4+ months.

 

Nah im not on that side of the blvd of allies thank god. I mean Oakland all around isnt the best of neighborhoods but I do think it will be fine...i would never leave it on the streets ever. I live in a pretty rich area in West Chester and someone broke into my garage and my car (last car, not evo). It does happen. Well i will see you guys in a couple months. Im real excited to come to the meets.

 

guys im getting bored of all of these nights with no car action .....i think we should move the next meet to a little earlier! lol

 

dude us guys over here on the east end get together atleast 1 time a week usually saturday nights at the miracle mile in monroeville.

and there is usually enough "car action" for anybody to handle

right in the middle. if you get off the turnpike and head towards the mall its 300 yards on the left. You will see a taco bell and starbucks

The welcome center or first gas station/rest stop over the Ohio line at a certain time might be a good spot?

well davey boy, us from the east are gonna meet at the mile around 6:45 a.m. and hittin the turnpike no later than 7a.m.

and hookin up with evodan and posey75 i believe at the cranberry entrance , they will be waiting close bye awaiting a call from the monroeville crew
