That is what happens on a regular , you get a huge list of potential participants, but then Bam!! its like only half. I always had a hard time understanding that stuff.

Especially when most of the owners are single young men , I remember before being married and having kids that when I said and wanted to do something I would be there on a definite.

If it were today I would have come down but being on friday night with down evo + wifey working , meant no mazda 6 , and only the big ole work truck + kids = no go for me

 

Why is everyone so shocked that the turnout wasn't good??? I was crazy though cause I wanted to change the time and day. ???

The meets have always been on a saturday when most people are not working and can take care of other obligations in their lives , and find time for some recreation activity

I don't know who got beat, but most stock turbo evos with cams should be just fine against a stock M3

 

When it comes to the M3...its fast, but I don't think it is faster than, well, at least my Evo. It has MUCH better throttle response (individual throttle bodies) and just takes off on a roll with the SMG, but I think any modded Evo would catch up. Besides, rolls are for fat chicks .

Just wanted to say too that it was fun. First time I ever went in D&B with you guys...it was definitely some good times. Pretty decent turn out as well considering the time and weather conditions. Next time it will definitely have to be on a Saturday though so everyone can make it out.

First off don't pay any mind to comments, I thought the meet was sweet. Secondly It was on a friday night, after people get off work, Unless you work night shifts like me, and I still made it out. Noone was really acting like it was a big deal that some didnt show. He just posted who came and who didnt to show who didnt come who came and who didn't WOW read that slowly lol

No offense Rob the M3 was hot, but not my cup of tea....Still waiting for the ride along in it......Oh and Rob I Pmed you about the Vortec Gen....

 

No, man it's cool, it's not your fault. Saturday nights just seem to be the best for most people, myself included. No matter what, a few guys aren't going to be able to make it out. It's impossible to accommodate everyone and their schedules.
