the surprising thing about the new one, it actually looks pretty damn good.

and even better...

no wonder ford is the only company that didn't need bailout money. they actually started making cool cars that run again.
The SHO model will be a twin turbo DI V6 with 365hp and AWD. Too bad its gonna be 40K and heavy .

yeah, but a car can always go on a diet.

hopefully ford will let SVT or roush get ahold of some of those tauri.

i'm just glad to see more cool cars popping up.

If only they would bring over that Focus. It's no evo, but it's still pretty cool.

Would anyone be interested in a small buy in of 55 gallon drums of e98. Consistency is garunteed and is fairly cheap per gallon. Me and garrett talked about this but don't have enuff buyers to get a good deal. Let us know if your interested

i talked to a small grass roots company in minnesota of which i found on a turbo buick forum. this guy works directly with the local ethanol distributor and uses 100% ethanol and denatures it with some110+ octane race gas to come out to e98. he guarantees his stuff and we can get a pretty good deal on it if we buy 4 barrels. since slaters shop and dyno are open now we can get the barrels shipped to him and get a serious price break.

it would basically come out to what you're paying at the pump except you get e98 instead of inconsistant blends of e70-e85. if e98 is too potent for what you're tuning capabilities are.... buy yourself a pale of vp fuels and blend it down to e90 or something.

just a thought

no, no jokes. i had just never heard the term. i figured it was something along the lines of e85, although i guess it never really occurred that just like gasoline, there would be different mixes of ethanol you could get.

hey dan, any ballpark on how much more power you would expect from a stiffer mix of corn?

Well depending on how much actual race gas will be in the mix will determine how much more injector will be required. I am just looking at it from a consistency aspect really. I think we all recognize the power producing potential of even pump e85. Now my whole fuel setup is based around using e85. I am still worried about running out of injector well before I max out my turbo, even running 1600cc injectors
