umm, im at around 70% duty cycle at wot in fourth (34psi). not sure why there is so much left to be had, but i intend to utilize it with a stiffer blend of corn.

1600 injectors, agency power fuel rail, BR double pumps

Good I am actually glad to see your Idc that low. Not going to lie I want to try and get close to 40 psi as I can on e. Worried the turbo was going to move too much air and tap my injectors before the party was over

Shlt ton man, hopefully. I got a couple tricks I hope to get me that boost level. Plus I plan on leaning on Dave to get it there

dan, its been a while since i been in your garage. what ignition system are you running. 40 psi is serious.

id like to see 38 psi on more potent fuel and i wont be happy till im over 600 awhp. four more pounds of boost should do it

I talked a good bit with Mike today about running e85, I think im gonna go ahead and make the jump, everyone is soo happy with the conversion from what I hear and the tuning potential is unREAL.
I hear mixed reviews about the injector size tho? I wanna run max power/duty of everything I have, stock turbo maby running 30lbs on e85? will 1250injectors work or do I need 1600+?

stock turbo won't be efficient at 30psi.

as far as the e85 goes, there is a way to rig up a switch for different ecu maps. you can make one for ocho cinco, and the other for regular gas. that way if you ever get stuck somewhere without it, you can just flip the tune and run regular gas. or a high/low boost map.

Dont do anything over 1250's max for stock turbo. That itself would be almost overkill. As for the 30 psi, go for it! may not stay at 30 pounds long ( either the turbo goes kaboom! or its just going to drop to like 22 psi at redline.)

wish i could even hit 30 psi!!!!! lol

ya, shawn (97talon420) whom has recently been kicked off evom. is running e85 on a stock turbo. 10.5 hotside and ported exhaust mani with basic bolt ons. was using 1000cc injectors at 30psi. he had no problems whatsoever and was holding boost very well.

if i remember correctly he has a comfortable amount of duty cycle left on 1000's and i would discourage any bigger injector size for stock turbo.

also, as mondo was discussing: it you are using e85 and switching back and forth to gas and ethanol, use the tephra mod on your stock ecu. with the push of a button you can switch maps, its a really sick feature

stock turbo on e85 is unreal. he was seeing like 24 psi by 3000rpm. he had insta-boost and was puttin the hurt on cars with considerably more power simply because it took them too long to reel him in after he got the hit.

think he made like 400awhp on tpg nate's dyno

The trick with that app is keeping the phone/ipod touch stable during the test.

Other then that it seems to work as advertised
