i know some of you guys are in to baseball/softball so figured you might be interested in playing. if not, the raffle itself is worth checking out. for $10 bucks a ticket that's pretty damn good, and there are only 1000 tickets being sold, so odds of winning are actually pretty high.

you can get more information about it from the site, or if are interested in purchasing a raffle ticket(s) you can message me and i can get them to you.

it's for a good cause, and an awesome vacation.

either way, i checked the amount of play on the compressor wheel and didnt notice any significant comparative play from when i bought it.

the surge was really affecting the way the car pulled though. it would cut out on power in wot and violently buck to the point where it wasnt even fun to get on it in any other gear but first or second.

problem solved; lesson learned
FP is smart. S M A R T

If you talked to robert he is like super cool and smart. Very nice guy and knows more about **** that I don't know than you will ever know.

I'll be down for the charity softball game.

Also, don't forget the Local Pittsburgh Swap Meet thread in the northeast for sale section. Some good stuff for sale locally.

well guys the time has come to order new tires (mainly because i have nails in both of my rear tires and the fronts are all chewed up from time trialing).

i am leaning towards these:

Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec
245/40R-17 91W BSW

i'm currently running a 245/45, the sidewalls are way too much for me, so i am thinking the 245/40 series should be just right. has anyone ran these tires in this size before? am i on the right track here with dimensions, or am i doing something totally crackheaded?

245/40 is going to be is going to be .7" smaller then stock which I would guess would make the 6 speed gearing even shorter. I would go 255/40 it's the closest to stock diameter but that's me.

Your speedo would be a little more than 1mph off. Which isnt bad, and you will have a little less sidewall. And the Star Specs seem to be awesome times. I'd do it.

On a side note, does anyone know where i can get a 3 inch ID 2 bolt flange exhaust gasket locally? I only have 1 vibrant gasket left but i need 2. Ive tried Autozone, Carquest, Pepboys and Advance. Any ideas? Thanks.

the 255's would be ideal, but the i land myself in BSP class for autocross and time trials. most of the people in BSP run race rubber, so i would be at a severe disadvantage.

what about these tires?

http://www.discounttiredirect.com/di...w=false&cs=255

those are just the regular Dunlop Direzza DZ101, i forget if they are comparable to the Dunlop Direzza Sport Z1 Star Spec or not?
