Thanks man but mines pretty dirty with all the rain... I got the AMS last summer after I ran over a deer on the way home from PRP lol, but its not the race FMIC. I know the silver 8 but I cant remember his name, he posts here occasionally I think...
Yeah I had a jestr tune on my car for a few years... ran pretty good until I started changing parts lol. How did that AMS flash work out for you?
A mail in tune is no doubt a great way to get off the ground and running. But for the next round, you should look at a custom tune. Its more money, but you will eventually spend just as much on mail in's.
Hey I gotta question for one or all of you "corn-holers" out there... Are there any problems with storing E85 short/long term. I just had an thought of getting a 55gal drum so I could get it easier than going to Monroeville every 100 miles or so.... just figured I'd ask here before I started digging.. Thanks

try taking it somewhere and actually putting it on a dyno and getting a real tune, rather than relying on a standard mass produced map. I am sure there are dynos around your area somewhere.. mail in flashes are for people in Alaska or Hawaii, not for cars near shops.
hell their is a shop right in penn hills that does tuning.

whats up ian.
i did some research over last winter before i switched over to e85 just to look at potential problems. ethanol has a natural propensity to accumulate water from the surrounding air more than gasoline, meaning that it can go "stale" if not stored properly. however, people tend to overexaggerate how quickly it will go stale.
bottom line: store it properly in a well sealed drum, in a garage with consistant temps that dont reach extremes on either end of the spectrum, and your ethanol should last you a very very long time. even if you didnt have a temp controlled garage, i think you'd be fine if you got a good seal
im sure someone will try to argue me, but just my 2 cents
