Well no mouse this morning.......I am starting to believe he just stopped in to say hi and went on his way. There is 0 signs of a mouse in the car and traps have not went off.

Now I just gotta pull the carpet and figure out how the **** he got in there?

How do you have your wideband threaded? I read on the forum sometime over the past 2 years that someone had a mouse problem and it was coming in from the unplugged hole in the firewall in the upper passenger corner. The person uncapped it to run his wires and thats where it was getting in. It was running down the ledge for watter drainage, behind the strut tower and in through that hole.

he was probably a former field mouse, minding his own business and eating corn. then one day *BAM* he gets scooped up in the e85 harvester and long story short ended up in your cabin.

Well that was the one place I assumed he got in......but it is a very tight fit due to I have more than just a wideband wire run through it and its all wire loomed but its the only logical place I can think of.

I planned on putting something of that hole to cover it up.

To be quite honest, Mice can chew through just about anything except steel. If their head can fit somewhere, they can fit. I've seen mice chew through 12 inches of concrete. Happens all the time at some of the older stores. There are endless possibilities of how he got in there.

Oh, and who recommended using lightweight shockproof in the transmission? Shepperd himself? I know people have put just about anything from household 3 in 1 to heavy shockproof in the tranny, but I don't think that stuff is good for it. It even says so on the website that it is not good for your typical synchromesh tranny.

At any rate, I don't really hear many good thing about that guy anymore. I blame him for the demise of my VIII. I should've just had Mike rebuild my tranmission.

The fuel pump can seem impossible to get out at first, but when you get the angle of the dangle right she slides right out

Yeah I remember there being a rubber flap in the trunk of my old mirage, that would have been an easy access point. I don't know if those carried thru to the evo as I have never taken the carpet out

Jeff, I think the fuel pump took me quite a few cursewords to get it out at first but then it just seem to luckily fall in! I assume you are getting it reflashed after the pump?
