Anyone else here fallow F1? I hadn't for awhile but this season is pretty interesting with the new rules and the new technology.

 

yeah 255's were ordered last night.

i'm tired of letting silly, and for the most part arbitrary, autocross rules dictate my modding. i'm going to build the car i want regardless of whether or not it is class competitive.

I follow F1 it's been a crazy seaon. Funny I've been a honda fan forever and when they drop out and sell the team their chassis (though powered my Mercedes Mclaren now) is now winning! Unreal!

well with any luck by the time i get home the tire fairy should have left a nice surprise on my door step.

i'm excited. hopefully i can swing getting the installed tomorrow or thursday. i am anxious to test them out.

Where do you guys get your tires put on? I had a set put on my neon by Pepboys and they put a few nicks in it and left grease all over the place.

EDIT: Nvm duh, Mike at Baierl, don't know why I didn't get him to do the tires on the neon!

 

I had Mike at baierl Mitsubishi do mine and they were perfect! No scrathes on the rims or tons of gunk and even bagged up the old tires for me and put them in the car! Great service!!

 

Yeah, Mike is a really good guy, I can't say enough good things. He's helping me out with my whole blown transfercase deal, doing brakes, fixing other crap wrong with the car, also making room in his schedule to put a new clutch in my neon this week so I can get it on the track for the weekend. Finally, I get a local guy that knows his stuff and is honest.

BTW Some of you remember my friend howard who comes to the evo meets with me and takes pictures....well this weekend coming up he will officially have turned to the darkside (coming from the subaru camp) and be a new Evo X owner! I'll get him to post in here soon!

what prompted the change?

and eric, yeah mike is the man for all things evo. if i'm not doing the work myself, rest assured he is the only other person that touches my car.

 

He wanted a new car and was between EvoX and Sti and well X>Sti...lol
I think it was more of the X is a lot better out of the box then the new sti.
Plus it's the red one at baierl and he got over 10k off of sticker so pretty decent
deal.

Justin now when you say Mike is the only one to touch your car besides you, does that mean I can't rub my junk on yours anymore? Whats up with that?

 

Any one going to the Church in wexford this saturday?! Its tuner night and me and friend with 1050rwhp supra are going if i get my ecu back in time. hope to see some of you there!
