Yeah definitely wasn't me holiday.. I was installing BUSHINGS last night.

Your build sounds impressive... I gotta check it out at one of the upcoming meets. Let me know if you got anything else laying around that you want to unload

even if it was my daily, im not gonna be launching it often if ever at all until i get a shep t-case. the build is pretty stout, the only weakness i really see right now is the drive train, but that will soon be remedied anyway
Props to you for driving it a lot. Seems every time I am out that way I see your car rolling around. After reading what you have in it I was surprised. Hell you probably put more miles on your EVO then I do and it's my daily driver.

haha just the aluminum shifter bushings... It was surprisingly a PITA since my shifter cable ends were ovaled a bit and the round bushings made it most of the way in just up to the e-clip groove. A little mf'ing and some sandpaper got er done tho

ian, i got a garage full of parts if any of you guys need some stuff, im too lazy to post in the for sale section. stock and aftermarket alike just pm me if you need something. ill put it in the for sale forums soon enough, but locals obviously get dibs.

someone else on this forum has a crap load of parts, but will remain nameless until they wish to be identified.

haha thanks man, i do drive it a lot i guess. but it doesnt see rain or snow so in reality it gets driven 6 months out of the year.

the way the car is built now, how it sounds, how it acts with a stand alone, and that heavy *** triple disk, you really have to be in the mood to drive it. if it was my daily id definately get tired of it.

the speedo still only reads 9400!!

Who had their silver IX MR parked in front of Felino's on East Carson street in the Southside last night during the Pens game? It had an AMS FMIC, Volk wheels and some carbon exterior goodies. I was having a few beers before the game and I saw it outside and had to check it out.......nice car.

Damn you ovalized one of those with just a rubber bushing? That's almost as good as when EVODAN ripped his shift knob right off.

Yes, he won that particular race.

I've wondered the same thing myself, I think that's monitored by something in the transmission though. I could be wrong.

No sir, mine is a black VIII with bright silver BBS RE wheels 18 x 9.5 with 265's wrapped around 'em. It used to belong to JeffWels, he posted alot on the forums a long time ago.....he's a good friend of mine and I bought the car from him when I graduated school and got a job. I'll post some pics soon.

hahaha, ya dude the odometer still increments. its such low milage because i bought the car last year with 500 miles on it; drove it one season and parked it for the winter. the body has 9XXX miles on it but the engine is freshly built

the only issues i notice with aem is some throttle hang and idling problems, but that could also have something to do with a slightly overbuilt fuel set up: double pumps, agency power fuel rail, and pte 1600 injectors.

granted, the car is set up for e85 and that is my primary fuel, but the fact that buschur was able to tune me effectively on pump gas as well speaks volumes about his talents. dude is a guru
