thanks for the input guys. I turned the boost down 1/4 turn on the hallman and it seemed to fix it from hitting the fuel cut. it will go to 24psi now, but it will still creep there from 23psi. Nothing to be worried about since the AFR's are okay and i dont think its gonna cause knock. But im still going to port the wastegate hole in the 02 housing asap.

its getting very cold out. I think next week is supposed to be nice, but weather channels are hardly ever accurate.

depends on the tire. OE yokos from the viii & ix are hockey pucks at around 45 degrees.

somewhere in between 35 - 45 degrees i would say though. the bfg's i have on my car now seem to be a bit more forgiving than the yokos, but they're still not very compliant once the temp starts dipping in to the 40's.

1 psi is not an issue, i dunno how much you can even consider that creep......If I am within 1-2 psi hitting my target boost im happy

My mbc would hit 23 fall to 20 and creep to 25 and then fall to 20 by redline in the cold w/ O2 housing - made for a really odd load curve but I just tuned around it and made it work.

Fourty Degrees. You're not going to die driving them on less but you may see increased stopping distances.

we could always go out and get some food during the week. It is getting a little cold, but nothing crazy just yet. I still go out to the subaru meets and there is still a big turnout in cold weather at QSL.

anyone down for Open Kart rentals at beaverun the 26th?!

Dave, yeah I definately noticed the increased stopping distance this morning. My dash said 30 degrees. That's rediculous. Winter tires are going on soon, but I have to make it through the next week. The Advan A13's may be different than the A046's, but they probably have the same properties.

The re-01r's were definitely a little puckish this morning. I think we get up about the same time. It was cold out at 6am.

I have all seasons I am going to run for the time being.

If the weather is still supposed to be nice Sunday could be a good time. I've driven their karts twice and really enjoyed it both times.

ECUFlash is getting closer and closer for the X! It's actually available now to the public but it doesn't quite work yet. Something about reading and writing to the new ECU is difficult. Might as well forget the z-chip and ecutek. TTP is probably ****ting his pants right now trying to get his product out before Ecuflash is finalized. Capitalizism at it's finest... Soon to be Socialism after one certain man takes office.

now i usually leave the political debates alone on here, but come on... really?

do you actually know what socialism is?

i'm starting to get a little irritated with the word "socialism" being thrown around as much as it is lately. this isn't 1956, McCarthy is not still a congressman, and the red menace is not hiding under your bed.

there is a remarkable difference between responsible social policy and socialism.

you want some good insight in to socialism? ponder the current scheme to more or less nationalize our banking system, proposed by our fair president. small government at it's finest, right?
