Are you going? I've been trying to decide when to get up there again... I didn't see any other Evo's up there last year (I went twice) other than the two guys that came up with me once. I'd love to get another Evo drivers perspective on the track and compare lap times.

 

If the weather is nice, I'll be there...

The "track map" on BeaveRun's site is worthless! Any better one's out there?

Nelson. Last time there I had someone timing my laps, but I'd like to get a transponder at some point.

 

Of course it'll be nice, it's June in Ohio!

I really want to work on 7/8/9. After a recent trip to Putnam, where 9-10 is kind of similar, I think a little unwinding just before the new pavement will be the way to go.

There are a million lines through the carousel, I don't think any of them are bad. I go in about the middle of the track, make a really late first apex, let it drift out, and then hit another late apex on the way out.

I think I may skip the Nelson day though (busy weekend - Fathers Day, F1 at Indy, auto-x on sunday) and go to Putnam on the 23-24th of July instead. The Mid Ohio PCA is having an event there, and it's pretty cheap for Putnam. Nelsons also seems to be be pretty hard on tires, at least the way I drive there. I need mine to last the season.

 

Just a reminder, Nelson this Friday. It's supposed to be in the mid 70s and dry, you can't ask for better!
