Anyone have good experiences with installs in the local Pittsburgh area. I want to upgrade to the HKS Cam gears and Cam shafts, plus the Walpro fuel pump. I was thinking about just taking it up to the Wexford Mitsi dealer. Talked with a "Mike" back a month or so ago and they said they will install performance parts. I know SlowBoy racing sells parts also, but I wasn't sure what the reputation was on working on cars...if they do that.

I am looking for a "correct install"....

Any opinions?...thanks....

 

why not do it yourself

 

I will do the "novice" type installs, but I feel this is a little out of my league. I have seen the install instructions on various web sites. I agree it looks simple enough, but then even simple things that should only take 10 minutes end up taking two hours for me.

 

Well the fuel pump you can definately do yourself, it like 30 min to do it.

 

i also suggest doing it yourself, i did...what part of pitt are you from? i would suggest you post the same question here the locals check this more often...
