yes, but the guy JUST said he bought it for $2.17 which is amazing for 2 reasons.
1) they no longer sell it in PA. I was told by 2 sunoco stations that they have "improved" the 93 octane and its as good or better than 94 (which i dont beleive)
2)for $2.17 a gallon that is sick. 93 around pittsburgh pa is like $2.49 for 93 octane.
i wish they still had 94 octane in PA.. stop selling it in 2007 though

the higher the octane the better. 93-94 may not seem like a big difference but if per say u had 2 counts of knock with 93 octane and no knock with the 94 oct, you will pick up more power since ur ecu isn't taking away ur timing
Back in 2005, when Sunoco stations in NJ used to carry Ultra 94, the main selling point over Super 93 was that it contained a high level of detergents, comparable to Chevron Techron concentrate. I got it a handful of times when it was less than $0.10 more than 93, and always seemed to get bad gas mileage that tank. As was mentioned, it was eventually banned to comply with newer EPA guidelines.
I got all excited when I saw toluene and Ultra 94 in the first post, what a let down when I realized it was 3 years old! As an aside, has anyone bought toluene or xylene lately? I used to buy it in 2004-2005 from Sherwin Williams for $40 for a 5 gallon drum, but I've heard that the price has skyrocketed recently. Any confirmation?

I've always been a big fan of alky injection, but it puts too much limitation on what classes I can compete in for SCCA. It's not allowed in any of the street tire classes, and for street prepared it's limited to water injection only. If I was just a quarter miler I would be running it no question though. There's something about how fast and hard boost comes on with the extra +6 degrees of timing I was tacking on with xylene that's tough to beat though
