Forget Norwalk! Englishtown is next!
Hey guys! Next stop for the EVOs is at Englishtown for the next EVO VS WRX Shootout! Last year the Big Valley Subaru won that event in the final against Dynoflash!
This year they installed a new engine with a new setup and they did only one test pass before shipping the car to Englishtown (the car is already on its way). And this was the results with some problems at the top end: http://www.sun-sand.com/~sunsandpr/bigvalley.wmv
Big Valley is stronger than ever. Ohh, and that pass was with street tires, because you cant use slicks on the Englishtown event. What do you guys think will happen this year? I havent seen the EVOs doing 9 second passes with street tires and AMS already have traction problems with slicks. And that Subaru is almost full weight, Power Windows, AC, etc etc etc.
Ohh and sorry, I am an EVO owner but I am from Puerto Rico and the Big Valley team are my friends! I have to be on their side that day! But its only on this event!

Big Valley is nice and all, but still the STis are far behind the EVOs. I think results will be similiar to last year, with a handful of STis that are actually competitive going against an angry hornet nest full of EVOs, and this year the hornets have even more sting.
I should be going, I was going to be entering the domestic vs. import racing (the other event that day) but now that I have an Evo I will probably just watch my buddies race their Evos and WRXs from the stands. I will be with the tunernetwork.com and XX Tuning crews, stop by and say what's up.
^ I was just gonna post about this cause on raceway parks website it says theres an import vs. domestic battle the same day I guess they are hosting 2 events that day. I be there regardless should be a good time.

It looks like I'm in [without the Evo though] for this event.

Dan ran 9.8, AMS ran 9.92, and we ran 9.93 on radial tires. Thats three 9 second evo's on radials. The BV car is going to be hard to beat so it should turn out to be a great race.
