Need A Tranny!

if anyone knows where i can get a good tranny for kinda cheap mine is gone in my 03 evo 8. and i really havent decided yet if i should have someone rebuild it or buy a new one? if i where to buy a new one through the dealer ship it would be 2300? anyone know any better prices? well if ya could help me out i would appreciate it thanks alot guys!

shepard rebuild man 800 bucks.....you cant lose on that deal! and it will be way stronger then stock...i have one and love it.

Ya, you really wont get much cheaper then getting it rebuilt. And once you get it rebuilt you really don't have to worry about it going out on you again.

I've got one that i took out of a 04 with 1750 miles on it. Tranny looks and is like new! You will find people selling for less than what i want, but i know what i have, so i won't match their prices. $1000......pm me if interested.

hey im not trying to kill bertune sale....but why would you buy a used tranny for a 1000 bucks when you can get a bullet proof one for $800 from shep or TRE? Chances are if you broke a stock tranny your gunna break it again....

yeah true that autobon! how u been man! wen need to meet up sometime i think im g oing to go with shep! i got one ? do they put new parts in the trany? or they use old parts when they rebuild them?

if down time is not an issue, definately send to Shep or TRE for a rebuild and get a much stronger tranny.

that price is only if he didnt break anything. he says that he broke some parts. a blown tranny is different from a GRINDING TRANNY that just needs new syncro's. either way tho good deal from shep and tre they are both good guys to deal with.
