Hey Guys, I am looking to buy a 2006 EVO MR anyone know where I can get a good deal. I am trading in my 2003 EVO 8. I need the 6 speed due to my highway driving. Any ideas or help on what you payed for your MR would be great.

Hey lets shop together because two people buying at the same time is better then just one...I got my first evo for 26,675 because I was able to work the dealer down with my friend that was buying too...PM with your cell How soon are you looking?

 

first off the 6th gear isn't a high gear. i got my MR from walpole mitsubishi, no BS dealership. i payed 1K over invoice, plus they gave me another $1K over KBB on my trade in and i drove the MR home that day.

 

Hey please PM me with what you payed total. 6th gear will not be at a lower RPM?? Or burn less gas when going 80mph on the highway? 5th gear I am at 4000-4500 rpm wasting gas...Either way please let me know on the details.

dont go to peter fuller in watertown...ive had 2 bad experiences with them. one with an 99 Eclipse GS-T and one with an 04 Evo.

 

My 5th gear on my 03 Evo8 puts me right at 3300rpm at 80mph. I've ridden in the MR's and it actualy isn't really any lower on a cruise. I thought myself that it would be a better "cruiser" but it is not.

In actual fact, even on the mitsubishimotors website, the MR gets 1 less MPG than the GSR versions.

Ie "we" get 25mpg on highway, MR gets 24mpg.

I think maybe I'd think a little more about the choice of upgrading for the gas mileage aspect

 

LOL OooooOOO hmmm....def makes you think...i swear my evo tachs higher then that lol. Either way I still think I will go for the MR. If you guys know any where that gets good deal please let me know = )

BTW: I think I saw you the other day at Autozone, but you pulled out pretty fast while we walked out of the store (we were getting into a GVR-4). Although I could swear you had a CF trunk, but in your car for sale it doesn't show. Not many white Evos have the TR symbols on it.

 

Yea gary don't go to the peterfullers in watertown, they treat me with crazy disrespect and as if i don't know **** about my car. I told them my control arm was bent, and they wouldn't believe me until i brought it in on the 3rd time.

 

haha yea that was me = ) I do not have a for sales sighn in my car dude...The car is for sale if you are interested. Most likely will trade it in. Peterfuller does blow LOL cant stand them.

Keep the 8 you kick your self in the *** later. but in ct marraim mits in wallingford ct 31,752 is what they gave me if i traded my 8 in for 18,700. but i said *&!@ no. mr made more sounds then mine i drove a black and a red one
