Nope... Blue '03 with the low wing... Pretty sure it's the only one in the area with that config But it's days are numbered now... Signed papers yesterday for an SE in silver...

Hmm, I hope not. That's the one they let people test drive on the Northway. I personally beat it around some during my test drive. Even did a little clutch burning, cause I was trading in a truck and I wasn't used to the clutch pressure. It's a nice car, but I hope he's getting a good deal if that's the one he's buying.

 

When is this supposed to take place? Early December?

 

After Thanksgiving, probably first or second Sunday of December...whichever day is better for everyone...you guys let me know and we'll start to organize.

Burning -my- clutch, Tryx?!? Curse you, Evo clutch noob!

Yup, it's the one that was at Otto... Just picked it up today... I knew it was the test driver, as it had about 100 miles on it, but it was still my favorite of what they had left on the lot... And hey, now I know who to visit late at night if I get any early clutch failure, right? LOL

Drove straight from the dealer to Grand Premiere Tire in East Greenbush to get a set of Nokian RSi's installed. I'm headed out to Buffalo next week, and the thought of the Advans in a lake-effect squall makes me shudder...

Hehe, oops! It was just a little bit. It was soooo different then my clutch set-up on my truck, but it only took me a few blocks to get used to it. I had no issues by time I got to the Northway. It really is a nice car, and was what sold me on the Evo. I was scheduled to test drive a Mazda Speed6 that day too, and after taking a spin in your car I blew off my appt at Cooley Mazda.

Where in Glens Falls you located Tryx? I live like 10 min fromt here so I'm just curious...I live off Rt. 50 just outside of 'Toga.

 

I actually live in Hudson Falls, not Glens Falls. We moved from Florida to Hudson Falls almost a year ago, but I work in Glens Falls.

 

I'm very familiar with the area. A friend of mine used to live over by the middle school. Do you remember the "tuner shop" that was open there for like 10 days? LOL...that didn't go so well for those poor guys. Anyway, good to hear that there are more EVO's in the area.

 

Oh cool. No, I am from Florida, and just moved here last November due to my wife getting stationed in Glens Falls (Navy), so I never got to see any performance shops. It's funny you mentioned that though, cause I was thinking the other day how nice it would be to have one nearby. In Florida there were some good shops all over the place.
