Trans/TC removal in PA?
Any experienced shops in/around the philly area? my driveline needs to be freshened up from the abuse I've put my beloved EVO through the past 2 years... not to mention the sound its making.
I figure it will save money in the long run to bulletproof everything now, while its still running, then wait until somethine breaks and have to shell out even more cash.
I'm going with a rebuilt shep trans & TC w/quaife. I'd like to see as little down time as possible so I'm looking for a shop that can swap my stuff in a day, for a good price, and do an excellent job.

www.rx4speed.com its like 20min outside of philly....for 400 dollars they will pull and reinstall your tranny....all you have to do is pay for the work that you want done at TRE and shipping.
turbotrix is a hop away on the turnpike, right across in jersey. they have a vendor forum on here and have been in the DSM/evo business for a long time. they can also remove your trans/TC probrably in 2-3 hours and do excellent work.

I've heard mixed reviews and some fishy stories from people who had work done at TT. Not that I think they are a bad shop, its just that I hear you have to keep an eye on them while work is getting done. Besides they are a little further then I wanted to travel.
I spoke w/ someone from RX4speed when I was at Atco a few months back. He seemed like a nice guy, I think I have his card around here someplace.
Has anyone had any work done by evo8dad? he is without a doubt the closest too me, I've just never heard of the guy before. But I know there are a few experienced DSM'ers in my area, I'm just not one of them, lol.

Adam and I put my clutch in. He has worked on countless EVO's and DSM's. He wont do you wrong. We are going to do my cams and timing components as soon as I get some extra cash together for the couple more things I need
