Flywhweel resuface, MA?

Any one know where I can get my flywheel resurfaced near Burlington, MA and how much it should cost?

Or a shop to do the whole clutch install?

Thanks in advance,
Jay

You might want to check with the guys at DENT Sport Garage in Norwood, MA. They're pretty experienced with this stuff.

I was quoted around $80 to resurface the stock flywheel. A replacement ACT flywheel (much lighter than stock) was only around $200, so I decided to spend the extra hundred bucks.

Thanks Emre

I've heard nothing but good things about Dent Sport, I'll definately call them about the ACT.

Which one was it Pro or Street?

They're good guys. My 2003 Evo is there right now getting a new clutch and flywheel. I've got almost 50K miles on the stock clutch...and that's with several seasons worth of track use and 300 AWHP. I think it must be some kind of record!

I went with a single-puck, organic ACT clutch (I didn't ask about the flywheel). I'm very gentle on the drivetrain and I don't make massive power, so I didn't see the need for grabby, chattery race parts. I left it up to Alex Grabeau to order whichever parts he thought would be best for my needs. I trust him.

I wouldnt suggest resurfacing the oem flywheel. spend the extra little bit of money and get a new one whether it be an OEM or aftermarket flywheel. once you resurface the flywheel you start messing w/ the working range of the clutch among other things and might get premature wear of new parts which will ultimately cost you more in the long run. then youl be all pissed cause it didnt last like you thought it would and say "exhibit A's clutch suck's" etc.... j/k

Resurfacing can be $50-70 depending on if the dowels get stuck in it and how much material needs shaving.
