I see what you're saying too, but keep in mind that boost is going to be at it's highest when the turbo first spools. Boost will start to drop as the turbo runs out of breath at higher rpms.

 

LVIIR.. Load will be higher in 5th@5000rpm's than in the lower gears at the same rpm.

Boost will be it's highest when it demands the greatest load.
Higher load, higher boost than stock, with no tune, will result in fuel cut almost all the time.

 

thanks for all the outputs. its not only in 5th gear taht it happens though. sometime it would do it in 4th. never 1st 2nd or 3rd. and yes i got the ams exhaust. right now turbo back with test pipe. the whole exhaust
