Sorry Turco...I'm a stroker man! 2.3l with an 8k or so rev limit is fine with me. High revving is great for the track, but not great for a street car...

tell me about it. i've been caught with my pants down so to speak at least 2 times.

i have a left turn every morning that merges immediately from two lanes to one, and then a third lane which is supposed to yield. if no ones next to me, i end up short shifting first, and then if someone flys in from the 3rd lane... thats when i realize how long it takes to spool a turbo on a 2 liter.

So you're saying you'd be a much more proficient road-rager if you only had a stroker?

unless you launch it the car is a dog from a stop in 1st. Of course once 3300rpm hits its all over for anyone around you.

ideally with a stroker - there would be no rage, because there would not be a contest.

true... from a stop light, i pretty much just let everyone near me get the jump, i destroy my clutch enough as is - i really don't feel its necessary to prove myself to every SUV or soccer mom. but even first isn't as bad as short shifting to second, because its not like you have a chance to downshift back to first.

yeah, total BS... here's what I'd love tho:

Deftones: both the 7Words/My Own Summer Era as well as the dream-pop experimental stuff.

Tool: Undertow (album), Opiate (album)...oh, and I would KILL to play 46&2 or Push it

Queen: this game could totally use more anthem rock...Boston, FTW- Queen, FTMFW

Killswitch Engage: Anything that Howard sings, but extra love to Rose of Sharyn, Holy Diver (cover), Arms of Sorrow...

Also would love some Taproot, Finch, and Thrice
