I guess the fact that I had put it on since was enough for them. I also told them that I had some bodywork done before and thats why it was off. I "left out" the fact that the bodywork was done like 5 months before I got pulled over.

I brought a pic of the car too on my camera... but i had to leave it with the security gaurd at the door. The magistrate and officer believed me though and didn't need to see it.

EDIT: argh i can't get FiOS at my new house!
