i guess the more important question is what are you looking to achieve by buying coilovers (e.g. less bounce, less noise, car is going to the track, etc.)... if your looking for better handling characteristics, there are other things that you can upgrade to give you that...

the swift/bilstein combo is nice... just look at how many people want your setup....

typically when it comes to coilovers at that price range... the sacrifice comes in the bearings used in the mounts and that can lead to problems and poor performance pretty quick... if your not looking for something super aggressive with super amounts of camber... they go with the KW Variant 3s.... they are a little out of your price range, but well worth it... if you need a good vendor... i know a couple...

look at it this way... i've seen your evo a couple of times before I left the state... and it's a work of art... keep it that way

 

if i were to get coilovers personally - the KW V3s are the only ones i would consider.
