I've rocked the GReddy counterweight knob since I've owned my car in '04. It's cold, but easy to deal with. driving gloves>

Morning guys!!!

So...for the last 4/5 days, me 'Service Engine Soon' light is randomly coming on, then shutting off minutes later. And it's never on when I get to work so I can read the code. Only trips when I am stopped at a light or just at idle when the car is fully warm. confused>

I am going to take a shot in the dark and say it is the P0300 code. Very common on 8s

As for the GReddy CW shift knob...yes- it gets so cold that when your hand touches it, condensation forms and immediately freezes into a thin layer of frost. And you know what I do? I deal with it. Because I am a man. I'm a man who invented the wheel and built the Eiffel Tower out of metal and brawn. That's what kind of man I am.

For the SES, Tim...the code shoudl be stored even if the MIL isn't on...you should try to pull the code anyway.

I'll check it out. Gonna start my car after, and let it run to see if it trips. Then hopefully I'll get to read it. annoying PITA!!

I lived in the newton area last year, since then I lived in Medford for a few months and now I work and live up in the Peabody/Danvers area. It's probably not my GTS you saw...

but hey does anyone know who the chick is that drives a silver evo x up in Danvers? I see her once a week or so making the turn from sylvan street onto endicott street at about 5-530pm. I'm allways going the other direction so I've never been able to make contact with her.

Dinner meets are teh played.

I say we have an ICE RACING meet.

That's right fools... it is now time to Pre Register for the ice racing season! You MUST pre register to attend any of the events and it's the only way to receive the email updates concerning event scheduling and location.

Head on over to Boston-BMWCCA and pre-register. Be sure to enter into the appropriate class. Hopefully, we'll be playing on the ice real soon!
