I plan on getting my car done well by him once before I put the clear bra on so that there are no swirls under my clear bra, but then ill do a lot of it by myself. Dont think I have the ***** to do the polishing on my own tho...
What do you guys think for winter tires: Blizzaks or Dunlop 3Ds ? I've pretty much narrowed it down to those two, but havent done enough research yet to choose between the two. I think I'll be happy with either no matter what way I go.

For someone who pretty much had zero knowledge about detailing, it was really informative. I really liked seeing the different products that were used. Gave me a good idea of what I could easily do by myself and what might be a lil more dangerous.

It might be the greatest machine on the planet... It is virtually idiot proof and yields amazing results!
BTW, I was randomly thinking about this the other night... those black inserts that you bought. You should find someone with a GSR that wants the MR color matched ones, trade with him and then return the black ones

Kenny- I have 12 245-40-18 Dunlop Graspics winter tires in stock. I can let them go for $194.70/each. Let me know if this helps you any.
EDIT- http://207.218.69.124/MfgTireInfo/Dunlop/GraspicDS2.pdf
Paulnsexrz- My supplier CAN get the Bridgestone RE-01R (<--- correct right?) for $240/each shipped. 3-5 days. Not sure what pricing you got online, but that is all he can do for me on that particular tire.

Thanks for checking buddy! Have you heard about those Evo5 rims? My buddy is still very interested but torn on the two colors... I'd really appriciate it if you could hook him up bud! Hes a good kid and has been saving FOREVER for his WRX. I'd love to see him rocking some sick wheels! Timz if you have any other tires available in that class (Advan A046, Bridgestone RE01R, Nitto NT01, Azeni RT615, anything else I don't know of) I'll def consider it! I forget what the Dunlops are... Most likely I'm going to order the RE01Rs from DTD.
luvu
EDIT: It was Tirerack, not DTD. http://www.tirerack.com/tires/tires....nSpeedRating=V

Yea, that was something I thought about, but I was so unhappy about how it looked with the color matched panels I couldnt wait to change them. I got them for cost, so even tho it was pretty expensive, I couldnt ask for much more. I dunno how easy it would be to find someone who wanted the color matched panels. I think the general consensus is that it looks a lot better with the black. I would like to sell my white ones to someone, just to recoop some of the money i lost on the black ones. I think a RR evo would look pretty nice with the white panels...
Can I just post them in the for sale forums? I know some forums make u be a vendor or something like that.
Yup those are the ones! DTD has them for 199 each tho

The few people I know that did buy through them all had bad experiences. I would stick with tirerack- I've used them a lot and have never been disappointed. I believe their prices are usually within a few dollars of DTD anyway. Also, tirerack has special arranged pricing with installers in the area, so you will save money with mounting/balancing.
