I dunno if Dex has ever gone for warranty work...
As for dealing with Al...I have never had a probelm with him. He's always helpful and pretty professional. The district rep tried a few lines to get out of fixing my calipers but I answered him logically and respectfully and they got fixed...

it sounds like i have a left rear wheel bearing going out, since the day i bought it, but i have 60K on the clock now, and its barely any worse. I have a feeling it will go to 100K before i need to replace a rear axle - which will be out of warranty by then.
*shrugs*
even when i had a TPM sensor replaced, i got a rental car. granted, it was an H3 and probably the worst thing i have even driven, but still, no problems there. the second time around, i ended up with an '09 CTS. those 6 cyls are fairly torquey.
i actually read a survey done the other day and i think out of 150 people with modified CTS-Vs, only 3 warranty claims were denied and the other 147 were honored, even with mods.

no **** it worked out for me. it's amazing at how they treat you in general as opposed to the treatment i've gotten from subaru (similar to mitsu).

i've been thinking about it and i think after the headers, she'll be good. too many people have problems with the magnacharger- they will warranty for 3 years it IF you remove the thing and ship it back to them. i don't think it's worth it.
i wish there was a twin turbo kit like they have for the vettes. that would be sexy.

He has to physically see them himself. Take the pics of the calipers, VIN plate...blah blah blah. I tried that idea of pics via email. He seemed like he was quick to end the call. I don't mind driving there (140 +/- mile round trip) but only if its going to help me out with this issue. Got to make the trip to find out.
Feel free to come down and have pictures taken but I would not count on them getting replaced. Mitsu sent out many bulletins explicitly stating not to replace calipers for fading. The rep will never let it fly. Sorry to be the bearer of bad news.
But like I said, if you want to give it a shot, feel free.
