I would run all the wiring and leave it unplugged or hanging until they come in. He did order from jegs so it shouldonly take 2 days.

So if you guys had to choose one, which would you go with?

1. buy a Cheap 9.5" wide wheel and 'stretch' a 235 Winter tire onto it
2. buy a Cheap 9.5" wide wheel and put a 245 Winter tire onto it
3. buy a more expensive 8.5" wide wheel and put a 235 Winter tire onto it
4. just buy 235 winter tires and run them on my BBSs (i know you guys hate this one)

$129 as opposed to $199 per wheel. Thats pretty significant to me.

I could probably find some GSR Wheels for cheaper than that

is there a big difference in the price of rubber? (im guessing no...)

id just go with the 9.5/245 if its that much cheaper. i dont think the difference in grip in the snow will be that much worse with 245 vs 235. also, the wider tire will make dry winter driving more enjoyable...

EDIT:

what about evo viii/ix stockers? maybe they will look too silly? you would need to run a taller sidewall...

option 2. You dont HAVE to run skinny tire, it is just more affective. I am sure the supper all wheel drive system will handle it anyway.

Cant fit 17s over my calipers

More opinions? I'm kinda leaning toward either 'stretching' 235s or buying 245s.

dude just stick with the stock size tire and get the 9.5 rim. like turcos said, skinnier is preferable but not necessary.

I think I am in agreement.

Final question: to buy 4 new TPMS or not buy TPMS. Total cost for all 4 would $208
