either I'm going crazy or my clutch is effed....two or three times on the way home tonight I'm pulling away from either a stop sign or red light and it felt like the clutch was still somewhat ingaged even though I was all the way off it. I haven't changed my driving at all and I was actually taking it easy every time. It would catch after a sec and act normal, and when I tried to see if it was slipping it didn't.
Just really weird...maybe it needs to be adjusted again? Or maybe I should bring shoes to work so I don't drive in boots? Haha. Who knows.
Oh god, I actually have Facebook now too...(actually, I've had it thanks to my wife, just didn't really use it before yesterday). It's Ajay Colacchio, I do like how SO many people I went to school with are on there.

Also, anyone know of any local shops that rebuild trannys? If not I'll just send it out to shep but I was hoping to save a bit of money on shipping.
Is the engagement reeeeaaaly low? I had this problem on the DSM when I adjusted the pedal and the engagement was too low. The clutch would engage itself and shifting was always a bit notchy because the clutch was always somewhat engaged while driving.
uhh, i wouldn't say really low. the clutch has always grabbed kinda low, but not like right off the floor low.
honestly I hate this clutch. I should have listened to everyone and just gotten the twin disc. when this clutch goes I'm going twin. I will deal with the chatter and be happy. Ever since I've had this single plate my 3rd and 4th grind slightly if there is any speed to the shift. It varys between which one will gring, either up or down shift. usually 3rd and usually down.
oh well, live and learn, right?

I've read of issues related to what you're describing with the twin discs as well. It seems like they only happen in the cold but for now I'd probably try to raise the engagement a bit:

Personally I think $1500 is too much for a clutch so I'll prob stick with an ACT HDSS but if I was going twin disc I'd go with the Quartermaster twin due to the lower rebuild costs.

maybe lower rebuild cost but I've heard they are a lot worse for daily driveability which I need. I have had 3 surgerys on my left knee including an ACL replacement, so I need something I can handle in dead traffic on a day that my knee is killing me...know what I mean? This single disc is right below what I would consider my comfort threashold.

Just looked her up....also not my type
