i dont see how that could be a 4g63... unless its an evo 1-3 style 4g63 (where it was turned 180 deg)... if you rotate the engine in your head the intake and exhaust are on the wrong side... (the side closest to the front of the car is where the timing belt goes and if its a 4g like in the ix the exhaust should be on the right not left)
plus the valve cover looks too tall to me... it looks more like a 4b11 valve cover

rotate left, and it equals the same locations in the X
is the turbo not in the front of your car?

I see what your saying, I was speaking primarily about the turbo and manifold orientations, maybe cause it's a rwd, it got adapters plates and a modified tranny, either way, I still think it's a 4g63
"In between about a million cigarettes, Koyama-san managed to tell me that he was converting the car from the original all wheel-drive platform to FR (front engine, rear wheel drive) by actually remounting the engine to longitudinal, or "North-South" configuration! Since Kumakubo prefers the Hollinger six-speed sequential transmission for D1 competition use, Koyama-san made sure to custom mount it to the new Lancer, along with a limited slip differential from a Nissan Skyline GT-R."

See this is where I messed up with my Rotorpros. I didn't get the protective coating and now the centers are rusted and ugly. Is there something I can do to help prevent that? It pisses me off when I see it.
I remember asking the guy about what I should get, and if I should get the protective coating. Oh well I guess, right?

I knew that, but i still cheaped out and went with unpainted hubs, which don't look the greatest, after a while.
