on a different note, what the HELL is happening to the Bruins, I should have learned my lesson years ago, but I still believed in them. At least they made it past the first round this year!

 

IDK, I figured that Carolina would be a easier opponent compared to montreal but I guess I was wrong. Hopefully they'll pull through.

 

They're playing like they did in February...no sense of urgency, no passion. They show up and play to not lose as opposed to playing to win. Majorly disappointing.

 

I posted videos from May 3rd's event. I used a perma-mounted HD camcorder for my car and a windshield-mounted (interior) TachyonXC for Turco's car.

So this morning I wake up and go to make a run to the store. As I accelerate I hear a weird whistling noise from my engine. I look around and don't see anything obvious but didn't notice any loss of boost so wasn't thinking a leak. I get back home to look further and go to check the air filter box and notice some marks that appear to be like something chewed at the edges of the inlet. Weird So I look at the filter and either a squirrel or mouse chewed a nice 2 in hole in the middle of my friggin filter! Ok so now I am pissed at that and go to look to find a replacement filter. No one is carrying the K&N drop in anywhere in my area ( this filter is good for 2/3 of all mitsu's from 98-07) and need to order one. But here is the other part thats got me irritated..... the filter is now about $75. Not a huge deal except I have my original receipt from 2 yrs ago and I bought it off the shelf for $49. Holy inflation Batman!!!!!!!! So now I am left with no choice, I put back my oem filter ( yes I kept it for some odd reason that turns out to be a good thing) and just ordered a new intake. Might as well upgrade now since for the dollar its my best option. Ok rant is over

They just aren't playing like they have been for almost all season. They aren't playing a full 60 minutes (good in spurts, suck terrible in spurts). Cam Ward is playing out of his mind again. He is a very good goalie, and when he gets hot, he is near unbeatable. Bruins are also not getting many lucky breaks/bounces. They are hitting a ton of posts, and having some ****ty calls go against them that cost them big time.

Really?? Montreal barely made it into the playoffs this year. Carolina was the hottest team heading into the playoffs, and knocked off NJ to get here. No way I thought they would be easier, but I thought Carolina would only win 1 or 2...

Well put Dave. Getting 4 shots on goal in the entire first period yesterday was pitiful. You are not going to win games against a good goaltender only getting 4 shots on net. As Claude said after the game, they can't be too concerned with controlling Staal, so much as focusing on just playing better overall as a team. I really hope they show up to play tomorrow night. If they go down without a fight, I will definitely be pissed
