I'm hopefully going to hold out until mid to late november... though with the weather like its been I might throw them on when first snow drops.

Anyone know if those cover-it car garages are safe to be left up over the winter??

Yes as long as you go out there with a wide shop broom and push the snow off of the roof from the inside if/when it starts to accumulate more than a few inches just to keep the weight off of it. My dad had one outside for more than 15 winters in a row....she still stands.

Sweet good to know. I just hope the neighbors' dead tree opts not to forcefully impale itself onto the tent...

They are very safe when installed correctly. And the snow does not stay on top during the winter. It falls off to the side and the inside stay relatively warm. Me and my Dad built a monster one for the boat. Def worth the $$...can take pics wednesday for you if need be.
