you can use another gasket to space it out and change the orientation if you need to. on my old valve i did that and never had an issue.

silly subaru. speaking of magnets i still have that HD on my desk. I think you wanted to take a look at it before i took the magnet out of it. I keep forgetting to do that.

I dump all the oil into a pan, then i put that into plastic bottles like 2 liter cranberry juice bottles and what not. I just let it sit over night and check it then. I was thinking about running them past a magnet but i don't know how to set that up. I'll give it a shot next time though, thanks for the heads up.

just toss a decent magnet in the pan and literally drain the oil over it before it goes down the hole. then you can inspect the shavings and see how big they are. Helps knowing the color too.

some of it is not completely obvious, like when they say R1//R2 = R3//R4

the // means parallel. for resistors that means R1//R2 = 1/((1/R1) + (1/R2))

i actually remember that from physics way back when. i guess those brain cells have survived.

on a side note- why does dhl suck so much? you can't tell when a package is scheduled to arrive. FAIL!
