I agree with Marshall, man... see if you can hang on for just a fe wmore months until the 09s drop... some of the quality issues on the X really scare me.
And i promise you, I am not a X hater... I've just observed some serious final build quality issues as well as fit and finish on the interior and exterior...

I could. I mean, it's not like the price is going to change..least not that I would think. Another thought I have running through my head..briefly..was selling the Evo...buying Zach B's Spyder GSX...and taking the remainder of the money and putting that huge chunk towards what I still owe..leaving me with practically oweing very little...but that is just one of them "eh" ideas....
BTW, we are talking about a '97 GS-T Spyder converted to AWD. The thing is so clean, you could eat off it! And the mod list is about 2 pages long

Bill, I really think this would not be a bad idea at all! That car is absolutely gorgeous! The only thing is, you would need to keep it just as clean or be hung! Not having to carry over your loan from the Evo to another car would be key as well. I say that would be the better option!

As for the $$$$...well..if I get close to what I want for the Evo..buy his car..it would leave me with like $4k-$5k left on my note. I had never planned on using my Evo as a trade in. Given what is left on the note, and what they were offering me...it would have only given me a mesely $2k towards the X

i think im just gunna do an oil change the week before if i'm "close" to needing one.
what pads r u getting paul? are you doing SS brake lines?
i really wanna do SS clutch/pill removal, SS brakes, pads, fluid flush. maybe if i'm super nice to davids and turcos they will help me! for pads i was thinking hawks or those ferrodos, but i think the ferrodos are $$$
ekk ferodo's are 2x the price of the hawk HPSs...
