Hi Guys,
I got an 2005 evo 8 and love it. I was looking to add some mods and for some advice. I live in Ashland and was looking to see if there were any shops that specialize on evo mod and tunning. I was also looking to see if there were any places where people meet talk about there cars and stuff like that.

i'm guessing the second number means at WOT? what do thye mean by SAE? usually that stands for society of automotive engineers but i dont see how that makes sense here...

SAE is a testing procedure for measuring the volume. I believe it's a 45 degree angle from the tip, 15" away or something like that. You have to hold the motor at the RPM where 75% of peak HP occurs. I'm guessing that is the second number.

Mine is the Medalion Touring... it operates under 93dB at all times. but the best part is that it's a full 80mm all the way through (3.15 inches)...unlike the Fujitsubo which necks down to 2.5".
I very highly recommend the Medalion Touring...it even looks stock with an oval muffler canister and a chiseled pipe tip.
I really like it a lot, now that I dug up those pics!

I'd like to suggest either an MBC or Ecu-direct boost control, but I know that's probably a bit extreme right now... just ease into it.
