Good morning, gents.
So, the timing belt saga was officially put to bed on Saturday. Dex and I compression tested the ol' girl and she did 170-170-170-175 so she's no worse for the wear.
I also changed the plugs (after 60k, whoops!
) and it's running a whole lot better...nice smooth idle and pulling a lot harder to redline.
I am desperately in need of a tune, but that will come...
How'd you all do on the dyno? Vegas- I hear congratulations are in order?!?

anj, I'll post up my graph when I can....I put down approx. 271 HP, and 300 ft/lbs torque...at 22 psi.... I did however pick up over 100 ft/lbs of torque by 3100/3200 rpm than it did on the first run...pulls wayyy harder than before!
on 93 octane of course

It put down about what I was expecting...the dyno is just a number and when comparing dynos they are all different, but it definitely feels a hell of a lot more solid and smoother, it just wants to keep pulling, even at 120+

with more power in her, just need to lower those intake temps 140* at higher rpms (not good) and hold the boost a bit better
600awhp or bust on DSG's dyno by summer
I will have to get my graph from DSG. I forgot to get it before I left. I developed an issue holding boost on the 6th or 7th pull. At that point, I believe Chris said I was at 260+whp and about 285awtq, but he wasn't done tuning. I will try to get what the 6th pull put down. So, I got what I could up until my boost issue occured. A retune in the near future is a must for me.
