i have no proof but i would think mounting it in the window is legal.
It is according to this mass RMV Document:
http://www.mass.gov/legis/laws/mgl/90-6.htm
Seems pretty clear to me.
"Section 6. Every motor vehicle or trailer registered under this chapter when operated in or on any way in this commonwealth shall have its register number displayed conspicuously thereon by the number plates furnished by the registrar in accordance with section two or five or by temporary number plates authorized by the registrar as hereinafter provided, one number plate to be attached at the front and one at the rear of said motor vehicle,"

That is what i am saying? I am confused. Bottom line is you can get ticketed if the plate is not mounted to the front and/or rear bumper

haha you guys argues the same point
i bet you could argue that the law doesnt explicitly say the plate has to be on the bumper. it just says the front of the car. dealers certainly get away with putting the plate in the window, although they may be entitled to special rules.

yeah that is pretty much what i am assuming. I figure my perfect record should account for something and the fact that i havent been pulled It is more reason to drive the evo since it is more legal anyway.over for the exhaust in the 2.5 years i have had the car.
