dext0r- we got sad when you couldn't come and play so paul and i started a two man band. flaming fourz is still waiting though- we need a rehearsal soon!
fwiw, i would never put mobil 1 in my car again. that **** sucked. subarus are known for oil consumption and it was bad with mobil one. a lot of people who end up with spun bearings use m1 as well.
i use syntec or penzoil platinum. 10-40 in the summer and 10-30 in the winter. run it for 5k miles and have never had a problem.

...but my oil cap tells me to...
I so should have paid for the express shipping on the PS3......goddang ground shipping from California...
By any means, I'm not here to argue oil. But I know that which ever one you personally choose/like/love/have a hard-on for, being told not to believe teh mileage statements was made very clear to me. And with that, I go in peace.

I respect the opinions of my buddies on this board (for this week, at least). Mainly because I don't hear a lot of unsupported, "i heared it on teh int4rweb," banter. After 60K miles, I have never noticed a significant drop in oil level with 5k mile Mobil 1 changes.
With that said, I think I will try out the Syntec product for the next change...I may even be persuaded to send some samples of both oils out for examination.
Paul, sorry I won't be making it today buddy...ya prolly think I suck.

I go by the same theory too, but I have seen Mobil 1 go down in viscosity and quality in the last few years. Since then I have been on Royal purple. I have also used the new oil Q. seems to work well too
i may clean them tonight. they are still in my trunk bopping around.
i forgot how pleasant it is to drive a car that doesn't have 12k springs on it.
so what is the dealio for tomorrow? i heard linguines and i heard worcester. i'm fine with either. you guys are welcome to come out my way and hang out after dinner too.
