the setup is simple 35r
nothing else special
funny thing is no one there believed me, I have almost exactly 21k invested
counting the purchase price of the car and power mods 23.5k total with misc ricer parts (tv, seats, roll cage)

someone at DSG "tv in a race car? whats that for?"
I reply "haven't you seen F&F?"
is a joke? or not a joke?

I just broke 9k on my Evo in parts. That puts me at a touch over 38k
EDIT: my issue is intermittent. I pulled twice and held 22.6psi on the way home in 3rd. And it pulled very hard and smooth all the way to 7k+. 3rd pull it dropped and held at 14/15psi. But every pull in fourth it would spike to about 22, then drop and hold at 14psi. I am going to do some testing today. I will figure it out.

the weird thing is if it was the wastegate, i'd expect it to be consistent.
if you are brave, you can disconnect and cap the line that goes to the wastegate actuator. BE VERY CAREFUL SINCE YOU WILL NOT HAVE ANY FORM OF BOOST CONTROL.
Then, go out and slowly feed the car more gas and see if it holds boost. Be very gentle with the gas pedal since your turbo is going to try to make as much boost as it physically can. This might be better to do in a higher gear on the highway or something. If it still acts funny, then it's definitely the actuator. If it's okay, then it's something else.
Again, BE VERY CAREFUL.

Good numbers guys! Congrats to all
I was pretty happy with my results (done at ESP on Saturday), 311 WHP on a mustang dyno
23/24 PSI (tapering down to 18 by redline) on pump gas of course. Afr's dip too far down to 10:1 for my liking. Time to do some real tuning!

did some research on DSG's dyno vs other dynodynamics and they are right in line.
Seems to read 13.5-18% lower than Dynojet. Crazy!!
I think I might go to ICS and see the Bro's. lol
NOT!!
