Long Island, New York

Not new to the forums or anything, just a question for those who live in this area. I'm the type of person that relax's by driving. I love to just cruise, not race, just cruise when I'm in a bad mood. What are some good roads around here, if there are any.

I know about DPA, but I'm talkin about a nice chill road, not many lights, not many pot holes, not much traffic.

I live in Suffolk but dont mind traveling to serenity

thanks for the help

I would say the northern state pkwy late at night or early in the AM. If youve lived here long enough you know theres no open road cruisin untill these times because of all the overpopulated roads and congestion

DPA is soooooooooo 1993ish lol. Like the 'ol fountain ave or queens conduit. But hey, i hear ya. I mean if youre just talking about a desolate ride in the twisties then maybe up north shore close to the water in those "private snob" communities is where its at.

Moved this to the regional for better results

On the topic...Suffolk is a big place. All the roads I enjoy/know are out on the east end including the old montaulk hwy out in montaulk and some of the back roads around Springs an such. They tend to be less fun or relaxing during the sumer however and are a pain too get to if you are not already out there
