I bet you drove past him at 75-80... but due to his need to put down his coffee and paper, he was forced to catch up doing 103 mph for 3 miles...

And yea my dad's a boston cop, even he hates staties.

*sigh* it's a moving violation.

fight it.

if it's your first ticket, your insurance won't go up but if you plead gulity and get another ticket you'll never get out of it...

just fight the ticket, you'll win.

I've heard there was a law against loud exhausts, so whats the bill in the house now about? the installation of exhausts?

update: i didn't fight it, cars not in my name so not much i could do. In the market for a quieter exhaust now...

i got one here in milwaukee. it was a cop on a motorcycle. this happened when i still had my gsx. gave me a ticket for loud exhaust. i just paid it. but, i was the only car driving by to. i guess he was bored or had to make a catch as no one around was speeding. i saw him with the radar in his hand. drove like 2 blocks and got pulled.

this is my first ticket in almost 6 years and i know for a fact when i get pulled over that ticket doesnt even come up on my record for some reason. i know this because ive got pulled over many times since that first one and the cops always let me go because i have a "clean record". so im gonna pay this one, if i get another ill be changing exhaust or fighting it or doing something

I just got pulled over yesterday for "Modified Exhaust" outside of Amherst. I wasn't speeding, and all the officer could do was write me that charge after barraging me with questions, and searching my car, and finding nothing, because there was nothing to find.

Now I need to fight this ticket, because I'm a student at UTI Norwood, and if this ticket sticks, it's going to severely hurt my chances of getting into a manufacturer training program. I ordered the silencer for my AMS Turbo back exhaust with CAT, but is that going to reduce the noise so that I may be able to get out of this ticket, or should I put the factory exhaust back on?

I haven't had a ticket in 4 and 1/2 years, what are my odds that they'll drop this ticket?
