New england dragway
lol^ yea man most ppl on here are cool. some just get agrivated when ppl say certain things. however since i own an evo i would no go onto like a mustang website and tell people about my car becuase most likely they are not to interested in an evo. however, back on topic...
who is goin to the track this week???

Not to add fuel to the fire...But if you're untuned, it's better to run race gas, than not, less likely to break anything. Better than being untuned and on Pump gas especially in a forced induction car. You probably won't get any more performance just peace of mind, which in a lot of cases is worth it.
As far as tuning goes, from my years of experience, there is one main reason people don't tune $$$$. Not to say that is a good reason, but it is.

thats the whole problem with his situation though... he went racing with an untuned car. If you dont have the $$ to tune the car, then don't go and race it yet. Simple concept. Gotta pay to play
Now back onto NED schedule... I think I am going to go up there sometime next week. maybe Wed night. Get kicked out
i was going to get tunned at DSG but i heard their dyno is under-rated and there for they are undertunning people, plus they are charging $500 for a tune, i have heard there are more aggresive tunes out there. from PDX and ECS tunning in sprigfield, ma. Any suggestions on where to get a tune. where they will tune for power not efficiency.

DSG read low on my dyno runs...
thats what i was trying to get at. a sense of mind is better than running with no racegas and blowing my motor. i know it does not add power. I just wanted to run safer at high boost. i boost higher on the track with out adjusting anything than i do driving on the street. My catless downpipe and no cats, and 3 inch exhaust with the QTP exhaust cut out makes me overboost.
blow from not tuning it.

(let off in 4th) That turbo seems to be nothing short of awesome!
Dude...tune you f**cking car. Or sell it to get something easier/cheaper to mod and TUNE if you re going to run it at the track. Key word 'BUDGET'. Throwing in race gas and thinking you have done something is pathetic. Even to compensate for higher boost. Two words boost controller. In your case will work better then race gas
And there is no excuse as to why you could not use DSG to tune your car. Have you seen anything they support? Look at the cars they have built, and maintain for themselves and their customers. Did you see the white Evo at X-Games...apparently not. Lots of happy people with amazing setups and results. And who cares if the dyno reads low. If your tune is done right and done accurately, which they are more then capable of achieving, it doesn't matter what the # says on that dyno. All you will have to do is take yourself to a dyno that reads higher after the tune if thats is what your main objective is. Just getting higher #'s on a sheet for bragging rights
"My catless downpipe and no cats, and 3 inch exhaust with the QTP exhaust cut out makes me overboost." ...HELLO AGAIN...boost controller...??? You can find them cheap. I can not find any excuse as to why you do not have a boost controller yet. You have spent the $$ on a full turbo back exhaust. And other misc items. And you wouldn't "overboost" with a properly dialed in tune. You really need to start reading/searching from here on out as to the proper way to add parts to your car for optimal results. Just because it bolts on doesn't mean you are bettering yourself or the performance of your car.
I think the majority here is growing tired here with explaining things to you.
If this post said "13.7 @102" and nothing else....all of this posting and nonsense could have been prevented. Nuff said.

I didn't realize you ran 111 in the 1/8th i was going to get tunned at DSG but i heard their dyno is under-rated and there for they are undertunning people, plus they are charging $500 for a tune, i have heard there are more aggresive tunes out there. from PDX and ECS tunning in sprigfield, ma. I will be at the track on Wed or Fri not sure yet!
TurboTc if you see a Red RS with carbon hood, wing and black wheels at NED I am an A$$.
