i just ordered some of those z1 star spec tires that everybody is raving about so i can now finally get off these snow tires when they get here then its back to the track i go. anybody want to meet up and race next weds??

 

I am going to try to make it, but it might be next Sunday test and tune before I get there

so hey, what was decided? will pretty much ANY act clutch be able to hold the power of a gt30 and some track days here and there? I plan on daily driving the gt30 and SELECTIVLY getting on it.

 

Evos better watch out. Our 9 second 1G DSM is close by.

 

^^ yes an act will be fine. the pedal will be heavier than stock as apposed to twin disc which feels like stock. however an act 2600 or better will be sufficent. one of my friends ran an act for a few years and tracked it often in his 1g talon. it runs 10's and never had a clutch problem.

 

i don't think you have anything to worry about. not too many super fast evos around. aside from fog, vegas, and i don't know what the status of kjewer's if he still even has an evo?

He is talking about kjewer's RWD 1g He ran 9.8@145 his first time out. Gt-42R He ran out of nitrous (30 spool shot) at Import wars and ended running 11's at 148 FOG was supposed to be there, but wasn't And we all know about Vegas Jewer is basically ready to sell the Evo though...

I think he was kidding though...although I don't know what he means by it's close by? Is there a 9 second Evo in NE?

 

i just assume hes messing around... don't know of any 9 second evos.

I am on the quest to keep the evo and buy the supra. if that happens. Evo is going to go full track. 2300lbs 42r
