Word to the wise guys, I wouldn't recommend naming specific shops as places to go for emissions tests. If the wrong people were to read the posts it could attract unwanted attention...

 

Well said... I was thinking the same thing when some of you guys were talking about getting your car taken care of. I would keep that off the boards and in either PM's or do it over the phone.

I think you did... and I wouldn't even mention the place. You should ALL edit you post. The choice is yours, but that would be $hitty if someone were to get in trouble over it.

yea in hindsight it probably isnt a great idea to mention it. but with that being said i will head over there in the next few days. i know i have met him, but i cant remember what he looks like... hopefully he recognizes me, otherwise that will be a bit awkward haha

Maybe the guys I go to are always "hooking me up" but I've never had a problem with inspection, and I've gone in catless. As long as you aren't throwing any codes it shouldn't be a problem. PA inspection is just an OBD scan and a gas cap check.

 

yes if you set the day i might be able to be there too... if you do not mined i think one more evo would make it better... but not until i get this boost situation solved though...

 

Well, I went back and deleted any mention of a name. There's tons of shell stations, but I did it anyway just for precaution. You guys are right! And like ChinO said, everyone's car get the full inspection, as stated by Pennsylvania Department of Transportation laws. I'm merely recommending a place that provides extraordinary service, like all evos deserve!
